Board of Trustees
The Ella Johnson Memorial Public Library District is governed by a board of seven publicly elected officials who set policy, obtain adequate funding for library services, and hire the Executive Director for the library. The Board of Trustees meets the fourth Monday of every month unless such day is a recognized holiday. Board meetings are held at the library and begin at 7:00 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend.
April 6, 2021 Library Trustee Election
On Tuesday, April 6, 2021, Ella Johnson Library District voters will elect four trustees, three to serve six-year terms (May 1, 2021 through April 30, 2027) and one to serve a two-year term (May 1, 2021 through April 30, 2023) on the Ella Johnson Memorial Public Library District Board.
Petition circulation begins September 22, 2020 for the April 6, 2021 Consolidated election. See the documents below for more information about the library and election.
Completed election packets, which include a statement of candidacy, a statement of economic interest receipt, and nominating petitions signed by a minimum of 15 library district voters, must be filed with the Executive Director between 9:30 AM on December 14, 2020 and 5 PM on December 21, 2020.
